Dahlia Tuber Sale Terms & Conditions
We’re so excited to share our homegrown dahlias with you! Every tuber we sell has been lovingly grown, harvested, divided, and stored right here on our small family farm. All photos you see are of actual blooms from our fields—no stock images here! Please take a moment to review the details below before purchasing to help ensure a smooth and happy experience.

What You’ll Receive
We sell individual tubers (not clumps), each with at least one viable eye. Some eyes are clearly visible, while others may need a bit more time to wake up—especially with certain varieties. If your tuber seems a little sleepy, give it some patience. We promise, it’s got potential.

We begin shipping dahlia tubers in early April, with all orders going out by late April. Our ability to ship depends on the weather—we’ll only ship when temperatures are safely above freezing to protect your tubers. Every order is packed by hand and includes shipping insurance.

Our Guarantee
We want you to love your dahlias as much as we do. We guarantee that:
- You’ll receive a tuber true to the variety you ordered
- Each tuber will have a viable eye
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us within 7 days if anything isn’t right. After that window, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Dahlia Virus
Like many small farms, we do our best to grow healthy plants, but dahlia viruses are common in the industry. According to the American Dahlia Society, about 87% of healthy, symptom-free plants carry at least one dormant virus. We don’t offer refunds for virus-related concerns, but we grow everything with care and intention.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will my order ship?
We begin shipping dahlia tubers in early April, with all orders going out by late April. Our ability to ship depends on the weather—we’ll only ship when temperatures are safely above freezing to protect your tubers. Every order is packed by hand and includes shipping insurance.
Why is shipping priced the way it is?
We totally understand that shipping can feel like a big add-on, especially with small orders. The rates we use are pretty typical among small farms and dahlia sellers, and they help cover the cost of careful packing, insulation, and insurance. Our goal is always to get your tubers to you safely, not to overcharge—we appreciate your understanding!
Can I combine multiple orders into one shipment?
At this time, we aren’t able to combine shipping for separate orders. Each order is processed and packed individually to help us stay organized and keep your tubers labeled correctly.
How do I pick up my order locally?
You can select Local Pickup at checkout (no shipping will be charged!). Then, stop by our on-farm tuber sale on Saturday, April 12 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to pick up your order. This is the only local pickup opportunity this season. If you can’t make it, we’ll invoice you for shipping and send your order afterward.
What if my tuber doesn’t have an eye?
All of our tubers are inspected before shipping and will have at least one viable eye. Some varieties just take a bit longer to wake up! If you’re unsure, give it a little time—and of course, reach out if you have concerns.
What if something goes wrong with my order?
Please inspect your tubers as soon as they arrive. If anything seems off, just email us within 7 days and we’ll do our best to make it right. After 7 days, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges.
