Growing Dahlias in Utah Workshop | Saturday, Apr 18 - 1:00-3:00 PM

Cut through the deluge of dahlia-growing advice from around the country, and come learn tried-and-true techniques for growing dahlias in our arid Utah climate. 

Join us on the farm for an educational evening where you’ll learn how to grow these beautiful blooms without all the guesswork and frustrating failures.  Learn how and when to plant your tubers and cuttings, how to nurture young sprouts into mature plants and how to get the most blooms possible!  We’ll also cover how and when to harvest flowers for the longest vase life, and how to save your tubers for seasons to come.  We know growing dahlias can feel daunting.  This class will bolster your confidence and set you up for a season of success!

This workshop includes:

• A two-hour class focusing on how to successfully grow dahlias from both tubers and cuttings
• A detailed handout, complete with recommended varieties, my can’t-live-without tools, and favorite tuber sources
• A Q&A session where you can get answers to all your questions
• Two premium tubers for you to take home ready to plant
